This drawing, Monkey Study, was inspired by a video of a small monkey delicately eating strawberries. Using pen and pencil, I explored linework to suggest the texture of its fur and the structure of its expressive face and hands. The combination of media helped emphasize its gentle, tactile presence, capturing the intricate details of its tiny features and the moment’s quiet intimacy.
