This plein air study captures the rugged texture of coastal grasses as they lead toward the shoreline and distant horizon. The soft, atmospheric sky contrasts with the grounded foreground, inviting the viewer to follow the subtle transitions between land, water, and air. Through loose, expressive brushwork, I aimed to convey the dynamic energy of the coastal landscape while maintaining a quiet sense of calm in the expanse beyond.
