Ink Pots was about capturing the quiet relationship between two terracotta pots against a dark background. The smaller pot rests in the shadow of the larger one, creating a soft connection between their forms. I was drawn to the warm tones of the terracotta and the way light subtly moved across their surfaces. This still life became a study in simplicity, stillness, and finding beauty in the understated.
